The Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) org is looking for a software engineer to help build the future of the FIFO topics. FIFO topics are designed to enhance messaging between applications when the order of operations and events is critical, or where duplicates can't be tolerated, for example: fanning out messages to bank transaction logging, stock monitoring, flight tracking, inventory management, and price update systems.
We are looking for a Systems Development Engineer (SysDE) to help us evolve and scale FIFO topics to meet the needs of our customers around the world. We design and ship highly-available and fault-tolerant software that scales to meet our customers' needs for millions of TPS. We engage with our customers to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into our product. We build and evolve automations and procedures to drive the bar for operational excellence and deliver industry-leading availability to our customers.
