General Description of Job
Under the direct supervision of the Surveillance Director this position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of video and access control equipment while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

•Repairs and maintains the CCTV system and Access Control system •Installs new systems and maintains technical databases and software •Trains employees on equipment use •Prepares and follows an approved Preventative Maintenance Schedule •Researches new products and technologies and provides recommendations •Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments •Builds strong working relationships with employees •Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations •Performs other duties as assigned or directed. •Finds ways to play; you are serious about work, without being serious •Chooses to make everyday a great day •Stays focused in order to be there •Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day •Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsEducation and Qualification Requirements:
•Embraces the Casino New Brunswick culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious and "all about the guest" attitude! •Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma or equivalent CCTV experience •Alarm and Security Technician Certification an asset •Minimum two years related experience •Must meet the licensing requirements of the Gaming Control Branch (GCB) •Must be able to complete the Surveillance Operator training •Must supply own safety shoes (CSA Certified, Grade 1, Electric shock resistant) •Proven ability to self-motivate and initiate learning. •CCTV/NTSC video signal experience a strong asset •LAN/Networking using Windows Server and Windows XP, 7 and 10 •Computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience an asset •Knowledge of AutoCad an asset •Must be able to work quickly, under pressure, in a busy environment •Must be positive and professional •Must be willing to be on call on a rotational basis
Note that video and data is transmitted primarily over Category 5 and secondarily over coaxial structured cabling. Work Environment Considerations:

Licensing and Certification Requirements:
Permanent employment is dependent upon the authorization and continued approval of the Provincial/State Regulatory Bodies. New employees will complete an application, and will begin work after regulatory approval is granted. Existing team members will reapply as necessary, and continuing work will be dependent upon successful reapplication.
For positions that require additional certification, the appropriate level of certification will be maintained.
