has a new employment opportunity for a junior to intermediate-level Engagement Tracking/Engagement Specialist
Informing, engaging, and consulting with the public, regulators, Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders is an important part of many of WSP's projects. WSP prepares engagement plans for our clients and supports the implementation of those plans, including facilitating engagement activities (such as open houses and public meetings), tracking of engagement activities, comments made by stakeholders, and commitments made to address the comments. WSP uses its proprietary Stakeholder and Issues Information Management System (SIIMS), as well as other third-party tracking systems, to record communications and important information from interactions with stakeholders and Indigenous groups on a project-by-project basis.
The Engagement Tracking/Engagement Specialist position is essential to supporting a project team to develop an understanding of concerns and priorities of the stakeholders potentially affected by a project, so resolutions to the concerns can found and tracked. WSP is looking for a detail-oriented individual that will take pride in accurately entering data and summarizing engagement activities for client reports. The work will support a broad range of clients and projects in Ontario and across Canada, including in the resource development, infrastructure, energy, transportation and municipal sectors. WSP
