Casino Slot Attendants
make attending to guests' needs their number one priority and develop the skills to keep slot machines working smoothly. As the eyes and ears of the gaming floor, you consistently exceed guests' expectations and create a memorable playing environment that can help give guests that lucky vibe so they stay longer and increase revenues for the casino. A Casino Slot Attendant must have a professional attitude and enjoy working with people. Other duties include, but are not limited to: processing hand pays, jackpots, cancelled credits and machine fills, monitor machine assistance lights in assigned area to ensure prompt service and answering Guest questions about the games.Working Conditions
•Must be physically capable (i.e. work shifts, stand for long period of time •Handle repetitive physical motions for long periods of time •Maintain health (i.e. wash hands regularly to prevent spread of germs •Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays) •Willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards and position, and/or obtain and maintain an NBLGC license registration •Must have employment eligibility in Canada •Must be 19 years of age or older Knowledge and Skills Required
•A casino slot attendant requires good communication skills, a professional appearance and attitude, and must be of legal gambling age. •Proven customer service skills, •Cash handling experience, •Time management skills, •Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, •Knowledge of the machines, facility, industry group and of the tourism sector. •A secondary school diploma is preferred. •Training in customer service is an asset. •Casino Slot Attendants must hold a current provincial casino gaming license. •National Occupational Certification as a Casino Slot Attendant is a definite asset. •Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred Casino New Brunswick offers a competitive wage structure, comprehensive health benefits, paid personal time off days, an employee assistance program and various corporate discounts for qualifying part-time and full-time team members.
