Casino New Brunswick is currently seeking a motivated, dynamic and experienced Shift Manager Front Office. The ideal candidate will have strong Front Office Management experience and proven ability to lead and inspire the team. You will oversee the operation of the Front Office, manage and supervise the daily duty shifts and provide support to senior management in the department's front and back office operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery and quality of guest service and immediately address and resolve guest challenges and feedback. Other responsibilities include:
• Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the front office operation as well as providing input for Performance Evaluations • Schedules and supervises employees • Directs the day-to-day activities of front office employees in the absence of the Manager, Front Office • Orients new employees to the operation and trains on front office procedures • Responds and resolves issues as escalated • Books guests in and checks guests out as required • Reviews room availability regularly and informs employees of status for up-sell opportunities • Reviews the filing system to ensure accuracy • Manages guest satisfaction within approved guidelines • Offers front office expertise to internal and external customers • Ensures the safety of guests and employees with a thorough understanding of emergency procedures • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees) • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations • Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:
