TD Business Banking offers financial solutions to North American businesses with a wide range of products and services tailored to customer needs. The Commercial Deposits, Money Movement and Digital Channels team manages a portfolio of cash management and deposit products and owns the client experience from onboarding to digital money movement. The portfolio of products is designed for small business, commercial, and corporate customers, playing a crucial role in the overall Business Banking growth strategy. We require an energetic self-starter who will represent the business as a policy/process subject matter expert affecting both Business Banking Commercial and Small Business Banking segments. Job Description
The Senior Manager of Product Operations leads complex operational functions supporting cash management and deposit products, including payments, receivables, deposit accounts, liquidity management products and digital transaction services primarily for Commercial Banking clients. Key objectives for the role include improving operational efficiency, creating sales and operational capacity by streamlining policy, processes and enhancing automation. The role will liaise with key partners in Commercial Banking Centres (sales), Commercial Banking Operations, Compliance and FCRM (Financial Crime and Risk Management), Fraud, Enterprise Payments, Vendor Management and Technology Services. The Senior Manager will play a role in Business Banking's objective to grow deposits and drive Cash Management penetration and recapture market share through strong operational execution, process discipline and cross-functional leadership.

Key accountabilities include:
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve policies and processes to simplify our approach and assist customer facing employees with product sales and service.
- Remain current with key business initiatives and ongoing issues/trends and develop an understanding of critical business success factors.
- Lead, operationalize and improve the Incident Management playbook for the CMD team
- Manage/provide management oversight of annual attestation processes, AML and on Operational Incidents including applicable reporting and remediation.
- Address complicated support escalations from partners including CCSC, CBCs, SBAC, SBBAR, Sales Distribution, and Product Partners.
- Leverage a strong knowledge of our legal, compliance and operational risk requirements, and ensure policies and processes mitigate risks, and align with Business Banking objectives and TDBG standards.
- Review/approve documented operating policies and procedures that are customer centric, employee friendly and market competitive.
- Analyze information to understand the impact on the business and make recommendations based on findings.
- Manage a team of diverse talent with people management responsibilities such as coaching and performance evaluation.
- Work within a matrix environment and use impact and influence to help accomplish tasks.
- Involves regular contact with cross-functional teams across the TDBG or external partners.
Additional Information
- Deep knowledge of Business Banking organization, products, processes is required
- Demonstrate experience in process improvement and optimization
- Previous People Management experience is required
- Knowledge of KYC and AML policies is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound recommendations that result in demonstrated benefit
- Strong written and oral communication skills for interacting with partners at all levels
- Experience with documenting business processes and procedures
- Solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to obtain consensus among key stakeholders
- Team player who takes the initiative to accomplish department objectives and support TDBG guiding principles
- Enthusiastic self-starter, with strong time management skills, who can adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment
- Experience with TD systems such as DAS, and CIF is an asset
- Operational enhancement and automation experience is an asset
