We are hiring a Senior HRManager for our client, a leading licensed Cannabis producer. The role is basedin Atholville, New Brunswick

You will be providingproactive HR business services covering all business areas and also act as the"go to person" for employees and manager and as the point of contact for all HRmatters with regards to your client groups. The Senior HR Manager will providesupport to the business and employees.

The successful candidate musthave excellent interpersonal skills and experience providing leadership andconsultation to different levels of Management on all matters related to HR.This role is for a HR professional who has a history of success in developingHR solutions and business partnering at all levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive performance management programs andwork with managers to effectively manage individual performance.
  • Oversee all recruitment activity for business groups,including working with external vendors.
  • Participate in the selection of candidates at alllevels of the organization.
  • Support employees to address concerns and tofacilitate discussions as required.
  • Provide guidance to managers on applying companypolicies and procedures, ensuring they are applied fairly.
  • Ensure effective communication of Company-wide andlocal initiatives and decisions.
  • Research and provide management with recommendationson compensation including salary, benefits, commissions and bonuses.
  • Improve and manage the on-going delivery of HR owned& delivered training.
  • Champion and promote the use of performance managementtools such as scorecards, talent audits and performance reviews.
  • Manage talent audit and succession planning workshopsacross the region; provide coaching and support to appraisers and deliverrefresher training to managers as required.
  • Actas brand ambassador at external networking events


  • Requirements

  • 7+ year's experience as an HR Manager/Business Partner in a high-paced environment.
  • CHRP isan asset.
  • Respectfor confidential matters and awareness of the Privacy Act.
  • The ability to analyze business goals and implementchange as a result.
  • Management of volume recruitment activities across allfunctions.
  • Coaching and supporting managers during times oforganizational change.
  • Understanding of learning and development models andstrategies.
  • Experience delivering training.
  • Ability to (both verbally and written) conveyinformation clearly, concisely and logically.
  • Natural relationship builder.
  • Fostering a positive work culture.
  • Experience working on range of different activities atone time with the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of businessstrategy.
  • Ability to handle internal and external customercontacts with tact, diplomacy and courtesy.
  • Knowledge of New Brunswick Employment Standards andLabour Laws is an asset
  • Knowledge of Cannabis industryregulations is an asset.
