Job Description
Are you an FP&A professional who enjoys getting beyond the numbers to understand what is driving business performance, where an organization should invest, and how Finance can help shape better commercial decisions?
SWIM is partnering with a high-growth, pre-IPO enterprise SaaS company to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst, GTM Finance.
This is an opportunity to join a sophisticated FP&A team and work closely with senior leaders across the company's Go-to-Market organization, bringing a financial and analytical lens to decisions around growth, investment, resource allocation and business performance.
You'll combine strong FP&A fundamentals with strategic analysis and business partnership, helping the organization understand potential outcomes, evaluate opportunities and determine how resources can be deployed most effectively to support continued growth.
For someone who enjoys being embedded in the business and wants to operate as a true strategic Finance partner, this is an exciting opportunity.
Our client is a high-growth, international enterprise SaaS company with a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration and thoughtful leadership.
As a pre-IPO organization, the company continues to scale globally through organic growth, product expansion and strategic initiatives.
Finance is deeply embedded within the organization and operates as a trusted partner to business leadership. The GTM FP&A team works closely with senior leaders across the commercial organization to help shape investment strategy, understand potential business outcomes and ensure resources are deployed effectively to sustain growth.
This is an environment where strong Finance professionals are given visibility, ownership and the opportunity to influence decisions well beyond the numbers.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, you'll work closely with senior leaders across the company's Go-to-Market organization.
You'll play an important role in driving insights and supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, resourcing analysis, financial modelling, strategic projects and strong stakeholder partnership.
The role combines core FP&A ownership with higher-order analysis designed to help leadership better understand the business and make informed decisions around growth, investment and resource allocation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Business Partnership: Partner with senior leaders across the Go-to-Market organization to align GTM strategy with financial goals and bring a financial perspective to decisions around investment and growth.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Support the development of annual GTM budgets, forecasts and long-term financial models aligned with broader business strategy and revenue goals.
- Budget Ownership & Variance Analysis: Own budgeting and the monthly budget-to-actual process for your areas of the GTM organization, translating variances into actionable insights and clear recommendations for GTM leadership.
- Strategic Projects & Analysis: Contribute to higher-order analyses that help the organization better understand the business, including product and segment-level P&Ls, competitive analysis, SaaS benchmarking and defining what strong GTM performance looks like.
- ROI & Resource Optimization: Evaluate the return on investment of GTM activities and provide recommendations on how spend and resources can be optimized to support sustainable growth.
- Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Build financial models and conduct ad-hoc analysis to evaluate different business outcomes, investments and strategic decisions.
- Business Insights: Transform complex financial and operational data into clear insights, challenge assumptions and develop actionable recommendations for the business.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Communicate analysis clearly and effectively to senior Finance and GTM stakeholders, helping leaders understand both what the numbers are saying and how those insights can inform decisions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve GTM FP&A processes, systems and tools to streamline reporting, improve visibility and sharpen decision-making.

You enjoy digging into complex data, understanding what is driving performance and turning your analysis into recommendations that senior stakeholders can actually use.
Just as importantly, you're a strong communicator and relationship builder who enjoys collaborating across functions and can confidently bring a Finance perspective to business decisions.
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- 5+ years of financial planning, FP&A, business analysis or related finance experience.

- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and strategic-analysis capabilities.
- Experience supporting annual budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial planning.
- Strong budget ownership and budget-to-actual variance analysis experience.
- Experience operating as a strategic business partner and working cross-functionally with business leaders.
- The ability to transform complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills, curiosity and a genuine desire to understand and positively impact the business.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- The confidence to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with financial systems and tools, including Excel and Google Workspace.
- Experience with FP&A platforms such as Pigment or similar is considered an asset.
- Previous experience within a high-growth and/or SaaS-driven environment is highly valued.
- An MBA or relevant advanced degree is considered an asset but is not required.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional FP&A and deepen your experience within strategic GTM Finance.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Partner directly with senior GTM leaders.
- Influence decisions around growth, investment and resource allocation.
- Own meaningful budgeting, forecasting and budget-to-actual analysis.
- Develop deeper experience with product and segment-level P&Ls, SaaS benchmarking and strategic analysis.
- Evaluate the ROI of GTM activities and help determine where resources can have the greatest impact.
- Work within a sophisticated, scaling SaaS environment.
- Gain exposure to a global, pre-IPO organization.
- Build and improve FP&A processes and tools as the organization continues to scale.
- Develop toward increasingly senior strategic Finance and business-partnering opportunities.
