Job Description Reporting to the Senior Manager of Acquisition Strategy, the Senior Analyst - Acquisition Strategy will help drive business and portfolio growth within the General Insurance division of TD Insurance. Working with key partners, this role will have accountability for the development and execution of robust sales strategies tailored for this exciting and competitive market, while leveraging key customer insights. Candidates should be customer and results focused, with demonstrated strategic and analytical capabilities; are self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Specific accountabilities:
•Build, prepare and maintain monthly Acquisition Sales Reporting for Insurance Products, with input from various data sources
•Understand key levers driving sales through collaboration with key stakeholders including Product, Pricing, Marketing, Affinity Market Group and Customer Advice Centre
•Assist the team in research and business casing of new strategic growth opportunities aligning to the overall TDI Small Business Insurance value proposition and contributing to future objectives of the overall business.
•Assist in Deep Dives as required for key levers and make recommendations based on findings after consulting with key stakeholders
•Support Marketing team in developing and executing overall product marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with program objectives and making recommendations as required
•Be a key subject matter expert on Acquisition Strategy, supporting both development and execution
General accountabilities:
•Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are considered in strategic decisions and in the development of options, solutions and alternatives
•Develop / maintain productive working relationships with channel, Product, Pricing, and service owners
•Maintain understanding of partner roadmaps, and understand how these technologies can be leveraged to bring business value
•Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
•Review performance analytics: recommend and champion strategies to enhance the customer or end-user product experience
Requirements Strong preference will be given to applicants with previous Sales and Marketing experience, Commercial Insurance experience and knowledge of TDI GI sales and service processes. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
•Post-secondary accreditation in business or related field
•5+ years of experience in and knowledge of insurance products/services & customers is required
•Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills; prior financial, product or campaign management experience
•Demonstrated experience in leading change and making an impact in cross-functional groups, through influence and strong relationships.
•Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
•Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
•Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Additional Information •This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
