About the Job:

Mindwire is currently seeking a Scrum Master to work with one of our valued public sector clients.
Client Location: Ottawa, Ontario- (Remote)

Responsibilities:
    • Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of Agile events and project/program management practices.
    • Support the Product Owner to ensure teams actions are aligned with the Product goals, vision, and roadmap.
    • Identify and action impediments that interfere with team progress and achievement of the team's goals (for example, using burndown charts at stand-ups, reviewing OKRs (Objective and Key Results) on an ongoing basis, identifying risks etc.).
    • Implement, navigate, communicate and decipher trends using team metrics (e.g., throughput, cycle time), DevOps/ IT metrics along with barometer scores and progress against OKRs.
    • Clear obstacles in the team's path, maintain a list of risks, impediments, and improvements.
    • Organize the processes of decomposition and story/task estimation. Co-ordinate cross-team technology dependencies.
    • Support identification of trade-offs between short-term and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and Product Owner.

Requirements and Qualifications:
    • Completed an undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Scrum Master certification (e.g., DASM, DASSM, PSM)
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, program management or business analysis.
    • Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Knowledge of Planview Portfolios Agile Place.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
    • Fluently bilingual in both official languages, French and English (nice to have)
