Paladin Security Group (NB) Ltd. is looking for individuals who could work on multiples environment.

Position Details:

Position: Mobile Security Operator

Shifts: Overnights 1900-0700 all week

Rotations: Two weeks rotations (one week of 41 hours and the other 43 hours)

Pay: Bi-weekly with the average of 84 hours per pay.

Overtime: Overtime (excess of 44 hours)

Payrate: $ 20/hour

Key responsibilities:
• Patrol Grounds: Patrol the site by foot and vehicle to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor Surveillance Systems: Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.
• Access Control : Monitor and control entry points, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.
• Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist staff as needed during crises and evacuations.
• Provide Customer Service: Enforce rules, control access points, and de-escalate situations with professionalism.
• Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally.
• Report Writing: Document daily activities, incidents, or accidents accurately. Complete reports on incidents, breaches, and security concerns.
• Collaboration with Staff : Work closely with staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safety of all parties involved.
Prerequisites:
• English (oral and written) and French (oral)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Computer Skills
• Driver Licence Class 5 with clean abstracts
• Able to accept a request from Sterling Backcheck
• Knowledge of Moncton & Dieppe area
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and / or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
