We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Internal Audit Manager (IT focused) to lead internal audit professionals that provide risk-based internal assurance and consulting services to evaluate and contribute to the improvement of governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
In this role, you'll represent the Internal Audit department and provide project leadership and direction to staff, while planning and conducting complex assurance and consulting engagements.

- Lead, plan and conduct risk-based IT assurance and consulting engagements to deliver actionable recommendations which enhance operations, mitigate risk, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage the day-to-day operations, including leading, mentoring, and coaching team members and external consultants in meeting expectations and adhering to the Global Internal Audit Standards
- Build and facilitate strong and insightful relationships by representing the department and interacting with senior management through presenting audit findings and advising on emerging risks and issues affecting the business
- Assist with planning for future departmental requirements for skills, resources, and processes, and create an environment that supports continuous learning and growth
- Assist in the development of the department's annual audit plan as an IT subject matter expert within the internal audit team
- Plan and conduct complex IT assurance and consulting engagements, while demonstrating ethical and professional behavior, objectivity and independence
- Manage time and resources efficiently to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met
- Execute and/or supervise the execution of engagements, while providing mentorship and constructive feedback to staff
- Communicate clearly and succinctly in both oral and written form to all levels of the organization
- Build collaborative and effective partnerships with clients and co-workers to achieve results and timely service
- Take initiative and use innovation to improve current departmental processes and practices
- Maintain a current knowledge and expertise on evolving IT trends and landscape
- A degree in business or related discipline, or a professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA, CA) along with a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- A minimum of 6 years of experience within internal audit, including:
- Experience in a management or supervisory position
- At least five years of IT auditing and/or consulting experience
- A combination of directly related work experience (i.e., IT, project management, business analysis, risk management) and education (i.e., master's degree) may be considered.
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) would be an asset.
- Experience in leveraging control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST)
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation tools.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools for performing engagements.
