About the team

Learning & Development (L&D) Experience is a centralized team, providing world-class learning and development programs and experiences designed to build the best leaders, advance future readiness skills and capabilities, and support personal and professional growth throughout the career lifecycle. With an aspiration to become a leadership development "powerhouse", the L&D Experience team is the face of learning to the business and works to collectively transform how our people, clients and communities learn, build connections and are inspired through curated experiences.

What will your typical day look like?

The Learning Specialist will provide support to program managers on leadership development programs targeting strategic cohorts at Deloitte Canada. They will be responsible for executing the delivery of leadership development programs, as well as preparing reports and communication materials to support the learning experience. The Learning Specialist will have the opportunity to support the design of new programs, own the development of program materials, such as faculty and participant guides, and contribute to L&D strategic projects. Focused on accelerating the development of strategic cohorts and firm leaders, at its core this role will help to drive our strategic vision and inspire and empower our people.

You are someone who has:

  • Knowledge of program design with exposure to designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning solutions for virtual and live environments.
  • Ability to coordinate development and enhancement of learning experience programs across multiple stakeholders, including refreshing course materials and communications, building agendas, reviewing program flow, and analyzing program feedback.
  • A drive for excellence, client service, and making things happen. You can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prepare clear and compelling presentation materials and reports.
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills and an ability to build and maintain a strong network with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proven experience in managing large amounts of data; able to maintain tracking documents with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work demands and meet deadlines.
  • Strong technical knowledge of applications, such as Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, team collaboration sites, along with the ability to adapt to new applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail. French and/or Spanish speaking is an asset.
  • 2-4 years' experience in leadership development, learning and development or related field, as well as bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, human resources, learning/training or leadership development.
  • Knowledge and experience related to incorporating executive coaching and formal psychometric/behavioural assessment into broader leadership development programs is an asset.
