Under the leadership and direction of the Division Manager, the Headof Manufacturing/Processing will be responsible to ensure the organization'sperformance standards are met as an integral part of the leadership team. The Head of Manufacturing/Processing will beresponsible for the production, quality control, packaging and supply chain andwill demonstrate leadership by aligning, influencing and inspiring a growingteam to achieve results that satisfy the quality, time and quantity targets bysharing a strategic perspective, developing and recognizing your staff.

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge ofACMPR, Marijuana products, its approved uses.
  • Demonstratedexperience in cultivation of marijuana or other delicate commercial crops.
  • Pharmaceuticalexperience would be an asset.
  • Focused,dedicated professional approach with high attention to detail.
  • Must follow Clientspolicies and contribute towards the goal of achieving Production targets withinset timelines.
  • Knowledge andcompliance with GPP, GMP and GLP.


  • Responsibilities:

  • Maintainsprocessing operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational,and personnel policies and procedures as related to the production process
  • Assist in thedevelopment and revision of SOP's and make sure in compliance with ACMPR
  • Work Closelywith Cultivation Team Supervisors to ensure the highest quality within productionoperations
  • Collaborate withproject manager and directors to schedule and plan production or QC activitiesutilizing GMP
  • Develop andimplement job standards; hold staff accountable for departmental and divisionalgoals
  • Effectivelyschedule all assigned personnel including vacation approval
  • Organizeproduction staff ensuring all operations are conducted timely and safely
  • Ensure trainingand staff meetings are scheduled, conducted and effectively documented
  • Communicate toDivision Manager on a daily basis
  • Report anydeviations and inspect all rooms and equipment regularly
  • Complete safetyinspections in the production area as well as being involved in incidentinvestigation and inspection programs
  • Assist productionstaff with definition and solution of problems.



  • Requirements

  • Bachelor'sDegree (Sciences; Business; Engineering) or related field preferred
  • Manufacturingexperience in operations management; pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility
  • Demonstratedexperience in cultivation of marijuana or other delicate commercial crops.
  • Excellent timemanagement, leadership and decision-making skills
  • Must be able towear PPE
  • Ability to workindependently and within a team environment
  • Close attentionto detail
  • Computer skills
  • Experiencemanaging/supervising staff
  • Pharmaceuticalknowledge is an asset
  • Ability toremain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Able to obtain aclean Criminal Record check
