The Role

Freight Club, a truly game-changing Freight software company is looking to add an “A” player to their sales organization. Here is an opportunity to work with a start-up division within one of Canada’s largest e-commerce retailers, Cymax.com.  

Strategic Partner Manager supports the go-to-market initiatives and ambitious growth objectives of Freight Club by assisting in creating effective communication, tools, and resources that drive increased referral and lead opportunities through cross-functional and cross-channel business partners. The role will assist in creating all product and customer strategies, education, and training tools to exponentially grow Freight Clubs' channel partners division.

The Team

With accountability over new business, relationships, and clients, the Customer team is like Freight Club’s bread and butter.  Expert relationship builders with an intimate understanding of our existing client needs and target market, this team is behind driving the phenomenal growth that’s made Freight Club a cutting-edge player in the e-Commerce game. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify and develop positive working relationships to recruit and onboard new channel partners.
  • Provide resources, tools, and education to get net new partners up and running quickly
  • Bring the voice of the customer as you partner with engineering, marketing, product, and sales to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
  • Measure, track, and analyze results. Report progress and optimize programs continuously through innovative practices
  • Become well versed in Freight Clubs products in order to help channel partners navigate the experience
  • Integrate with other departments to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement in the customer experience and help identify solutions to increase brand awareness and incentive programs

Who You Are: 

  • Minimum 2+ years in a sales development role
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and solving customer problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • People person - you love engaging with and meeting customers and enjoy building relationships
  • Motivated and creative self-starter - you enjoy solving problems and taking ownership of projects with limited direction and you are a fast learner
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated growth mindset - you seek feedback and strive for continuous improvement, both in your own professional development and for our customers
  • Energized about doing something for the first time and learning from the experience in order to build a process that can scale
  • Adept at learning and working across sales development and tech tools
