Position Summary:

Under the direction of Manager, Cage, this postion is responsible for distributing, verifying and reconciling floats, completing large cash transactions and overseeing Cashiers on a shift basis. Our Dual Cage Supervisor is also entrusted to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

**PLEASE NOTE-this is a DUAL leadership role within the Cage Operations Department. Responding to business, the Dual Cage Supervisor will split their time between Supervisory and Regular Cage Cashier duties.


Supervisory Shifts: $17.55

Cage Cashier Shifts: $12.55

Key Accountabilities:
    • Monitoring the Cage team; providing input for team members performance evaluation and objective • Responsible for completion and monitoring of audits relating to LCT, PGF, SOF, RM, Cheques, supporting documentations and other forms as required. • Preparing the Cage for opening and closing; distributing, verifying and reconciling Cashier floats • Verifying or completing large transactions • Documenting and reconciling cash and cash equivalents; providing reports • Participating in Cage corporate training; assisting in conducting site training • Monitoring and reporting all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities • Responding to, resolving or escalating cage issues • Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments • Building strong working relationships with our internal and external guests • Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualification Requirements:
    • High School Diploma; Post Secondary education an asset • Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume cash handling • Slots or Table Game experience is an asset • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment : Office environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours

Licensing and Certification Requirements : Permanent employment may be dependent upon the authorization and continued approval of the Provincial/State Regulatory Bodies. New employees may be required to complete an application and, if required, will begin work only after regulatory approval is granted. Existing team members will reapply as necessary, and continuing work will be dependent upon successful reapplication. For positions that require additional certification, the appropriate level of certification will be maintained
