The Role

As a Customer Service Representative within Freight Club, you’ll be in working closely with many of our large business clients, ensuring they succeed. You’ll be monitoring shipments, as well as regularly touching points with many clients, to ensure they’ve got their questions answered. You value the impact a strong customer success experience can have.

With accountability over new business, relationships, and clients, the Customer team is like Freight Club’s bread and butter. What You’ll Do

  • Reporting and proactively taking action on logistics issues for large business clients
  • Providing excellent phone, chat, and email customer support
  • Monitoring shipment progress; using standard process and internal tools to troubleshoot and problem solve within tight deadlines
  • Maintain a relationship with all transportation providers and clientele
  • Organize all shipment data in Excel and update regularly
  • Provide website troubleshooting assistance to clients

Who You Are

  • Able to remain calm, think on your feet, and exercise sound judgment under pressure
  • Team oriented, helpful, professional, and focused
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Positive and proactive with a strong work ethic
  • Experienced in a customer-facing role
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel and pivot tables, and the ability to learn new computer programs efficiently

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related fields
  • Transportation, freight brokerage, or other logistics industry experience
  • Technology industry and startup experience
