Technical Operations is expanding our team by hiring a Civil Specialist in the Atlantic. This individual will coordinate the maintenance of our regional infrastructure and support third-party contractors as they complete the work.

Who we're looking for:
Technical Operations is expanding our team by hiring a Civil Specialist in the Atlantic. This individual will coordinate the maintenance of our regional infrastructure and support third-party contractors as they complete the work.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate the maintenance of the civil portion of our wireless infrastructure, including roads, compounds, shelters, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and landscaping.
- Coordinate the relocation of equipment or antennas with landlords.
- Collaborate with procurement on service requests for proposals and source job-specific quotes from our third-party contractors.
- Open and close purchase orders, process invoices for payment, and participate in budget planning.
- Provide on-site mentoring, monitoring, and training to third-party contractors.
- Conduct quality inspections, both on-site and remotely, to ensure work is complete and meets Rogers' standards.
- Assist in coordinating and responding to emergencies, both on-site and remotely.
- Assist with projects as needed.
What you bring:
- Must have a valid driver's licence in good standing.
- Effective communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior organization and interpersonal skills required.
- Technically proficient with the desire to learn.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Related post-secondary education, such as a civil engineering technologist/technician or related on-the-job experience.
- Experience in project planning and management would be an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English considered an asset
