Department Overview:
TD Securities GMMO (Global Markets Middle Office) primarily engages in the ongoing support to the Institutional Fixed Income & REPO traders and sales. The group deals with the reporting and analysis of trade affirmation & allocations, trade breaks investigations, inventory management & balancing, P&L monitoring, and timely reporting to the front office.
Post execution trade support for TDS trading businesses to ensure trades are captured in trading systems on an accurate and timely basis.
• Support both trading and sales functions in Toronto, NY and London with specific accountabilities pertaining to trade capture, inventory position management, and business reporting / trade capture and client analytics.
• Constant interaction with traders, salespersons, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and institutional customers to effectively deliver its mandate.
• Support the ongoing development and design and adherence of the target operating model for front office processes that are required for effective trade execution, trade capture and position and risk management.

• Support the ongoing development and design and adherence of the target operating model for front office processes that are required for effective trade execution, trade capture and position and risk management.
- Act as a specialist in the processes and products supporting fixed income businesses and be able to comfortably and effectively communicate with a wide-ranging audience within our Global Markey teams, including the Front Office and other Infrastructure teams.
- Inventory Management - The review and balancing of inventories, including all monies and positions that require immediate attention.
- Support the Underwriting business, ensuring this highly sensitive process is managed with extreme vigilance in order to maintain our strong reputation with concerned stakeholders.
- Amendment of trades due to client, trader or operational error.
- Engage, participate, and coordinate high level business and regulatory driven initiatives.
- Client or Trader inquiries (in person/phone/e-mail). Provide Primary support to the Front office
- Ability to liaise with our front office partners and settlements re: positions settling on Euroclear, CDS and DTC.
- Routine analysis of trade data from the various source systems (FIS, ISM, Bloomberg, Calypso, Arrow, SSCNet, Global Oasis)
- Development of effective reporting tools using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Various one-off projects; responsibility for understanding, development, implementation, and documentation of all related projects, activities/concepts.
- Prompt investigation and resolution of errors and/or queries from Trading, Operations or Finance & Accounting staff
- Create and take ownership of ongoing and new business management reporting including tracking key performance indicators to ensure team is meeting targets
- Confirmation and identification any trade breaks.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationships with front office partners and independent support and control groups to facilitate the achievement of front office objectives
- Act as an escalation point of contact for the team and process management.
- Seek innovative ways to transform the functions within our group by utilizing automation.
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to solve problems creatively and able to communicate the solutions clearly and concisely at a senior level.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Extensive client management expertise and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet the multiple strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required for dealing with internal executive groups and external sensitive / high value counterparties in problem resolution / management.
- Extensive experience in regulatory, compliance, governance projects / deliverables
Additional Information: - Strong Knowledge of the Securities industry.
- Bachelor's degree
- Preferred - candidate or completion of CSC.
