Job Details
As a Business Systems Analyst Specialist, you will lead the definition of system requirements by developing a strong understanding of both inherent and bespoke marketing business processes. You will translate that understanding into opportunities for system enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes. You will build strong partnerships with Marketing and Technology stakeholders to ensure business goals and needs are addressed through well-defined, documented, and approved solution requirements. You will help advance automation, generate deeper insights and AI-driven outcomes, improve usability, and strengthen Marketing's ability to deliver relevant advice, promotions, and offers to customers across all channels. Whether you are defining requirements for innovative future-state solutions, helping Technology teams understand the intended outcomes of delivered products, or mentoring colleagues in business systems analysis practices, you will contribute to a more capable and user-friendly set of tools that enables more meaningful customer interactions.
As a valued member of our team, you will:
• Lead requirement gathering: understand our systems and business processes to develop new requirements that change our systems for the better.
• Be a team leader: provide feedback, listen to suggestions, and help build stronger pods and stronger business systems analysis team members.
• Analyze data: work closely with the business to understand data and with quality engineering to ensure their test coverage matches the business need.
• Never stop learning: actively participate in ongoing training and coaching support to help you continue to grow and develop in your role.
Our team, and specifically this role, is for someone comfortable working from downtown Toronto almost exclusively. Tools will be provided to make working from home possible, but achieving 80% in office attendance is expected. This allows our team to huddle in a room and brainstorm on the whiteboard, to overhear what other teams are doing leading to finding common approaches and reducing wasted effort, and to socialize and build stronger relationships within the pod and beyond. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.
