Job Description:
Role Overview & Associate Program
The Associate Account Manager role is part of a structured Associate Development Program, designed to provide new university graduates with a well-rounded foundation in equipment financing and support long-term career growth.
The program includes on the first year two six-month rotations, directly aligned with the key responsibilities of the role and offering full exposure to the equipment financing lifecycle.
Responsibilities & Development Path - 1st year
Rotation 1 - Sales & Business Development (6 months)
Rotation 2 - Credit & Risk Management (6 months)
Program Objective
To develop a full understanding of the equipment financing lifecycle, strengthen business judgment, and prepare Associates for future roles as Account Managers, Credit Analysts, or other senior positions within TDEF.

- Participate in prospecting, targeted calling, client events and marketing initiatives
- Support Account Managers in portfolio growth and relationship development
- Participate in client meetings and gain exposure to client business needs
- Assist in structuring equipment financing solutions
- Deliver a strong client experience in a collaborative team environment
Rotation 2 - Credit & Risk Management (6 months)
- Support financial analysis and credit risk assessment
- Assist in preparing financing proposals and credit submissions
- Gain exposure to credit approval processes and risk policies
- Work closely with Credit, Risk, Operations and Legal teams
- Support transaction execution through to funding
Program Objective

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Strong interest in financial services, equipment financing and business development
- Relevant experience through internships, academic projects, part-time roles, sales, financial analysis or client service is considered an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and business judgment skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and client-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills in French and English
