AI Specialist

We are seeking an AI Specialist with strong computer vision expertise to support a new initiative focused on automating the identification, profiling, and behavior analysis for our client.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional technical and scientific teams to develop a scalable solution that will serve as the foundation for a national marine monitoring platform.

• The Artificial Intelligence Consultant (AI) will have a passion for innovation and technology trends e.g. Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics.

• Formulate a well-defined business objective and determine whether an AI technique is the best option for achieving it.

• Design, build, and deploy an AI application that fits your business objectives.

• Provide employee training about AI technologies.Design and implement computer vision models to detect and classify fish species and behaviors in underwater video.

• Process both annotated and unannotated video datasets to prepare data pipelines.

• Train, test, and evaluate deep learning models for object detection and activity recognition.

• Collaborate with marine scientists and software developers to integrate AI models into broader platform architecture.

• Support deployment on cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).

• Hands-on experience with recent computer vision and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV).

• Strong knowledge of video analysis, object detection, and multi-class classification.

• Experience developing end-to-end ML solutions, from data prep to deployment.

• Comfortable working with both annotated and unlabelled video data.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
